The Stories We Tell + Can I Hold the Mic? An interactive exhibit followed by a storytelling event
Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 5:30pm to 8:00pm
La Sala De Puerto Rico
In collaboration with GWAMIT and PLEASURE, VPR presents Can I Hold the Mic?, a storytelling event, inspired by the Yarn at Sloan, where members of our community will share stories about their experiences and the impact that sexual assault and sexual harassment have had on their lives.
Also be sure to check out the interactive exhibit, The Stories We Tell, held in the same location, before the stories begin. This exhibit will include photos, activities, and other art to engage with that is focused on the topics of sexual assault and harassment.
Exhibit opens at 5:30 and stories begin at 6:30
