MakerLodge Virtual Info Session for Class of 2024

Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 3:00pm to 4:00pm

Virtual Event

MakerLodge is MIT's introductory maker training program for first year undergraduate students. Student peers and staff will train you on how to safely use tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, band saws and drill presses. When you complete your training you'll receive a tool kit, T shirt, Arduino Nano and $100 MakerBucks to help you get started on your MIT making journey!

We will be running MakerLodge during the Spring for those students on campus - just a little differently than usual! You can expect some more 'asynchronous' video pre-work, but it will be paired with in-person, hands-on training.

Come to this info session to learn:

  • More details of how MakerLodge training will run this Spring
  • How to test out of tool training for tools you have experience using
  • How you may be able to use the makerspaces this spring
  • How to sign up for training and get started!
