Mestrelab Research Working Session
Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11:00am to 3:00pm
Building 4, 153 and 149
The Chemistry Department and Department of Chemistry Instrumentation Facility (DCIF) are hosting a working/training session with Drs. Chen Peng and Mark Dixon of Mestrelab Research on Thursday, April 26. This session is designed for chemistry, engineering, and materials science students, postdocs, and staff that currently use, or have a need for, the Mestrelab software package available at MIT for NMR data processing (available at http://ist.mit.edu/mnova/nmr).
In the first session, Chen and Mark will demonstrate both basic and advanced features of Mnova NMR, including peak assignment, qNMR, DOSY, and reaction monitoring. In the second session they will look at NMR chemical shift prediction and MS data processing, modules that we are hoping to add to the MIT license in the near future. There will be time for both general questions and questions about specific applications that you have.
The schedule is as follows:
April 26, 11am - 1pm, Room 4-153, Basic and Advanced Mnova NMR (pizza lunch will be available)
April 26, 1pm - 2pm, one-on-one sessions, location TBA (depending on interest)
April 26, 2pm - 3pm, Room 4-149, NMRPredict and Mnova MS
