The Future of Flight

Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Virtual Event

Aerospace engineering is a rapidly expanding field with constant innovation and progress. Currently, companies strive towards thrilling and ground-breaking goals such as unmanned, autonomous flight systems, production of low-cost, high-performance aircrafts, and energy efficient, sustainable solutions for flight. While these companies serve a broad range of markets, from defense to industry to the general public, these companies all share the common goal of making flight safer, faster, and more affordable.

With so many startups in the field, the role of intellectual property in flight innovation is critical. Intellectual Property plays a crucial role in the development, protection, and commercialization of a startup’s technologies. Our panel of seasoned industry leaders will discuss:

  • The future of electric flight
  • Energy efficiency and cost saving in flight
  • Unmanned and autonomous aerial vehicle control
  • Safe on-demand air travel and transportation
  • The role of IP in these developments
