What makes the difference between surviving and thriving at MIT? Often it’s a combination of rich and supportive relationships, a sense of meaning and purpose and proactive self-care. These are all specialties of MIT’s Office of Religious, Spiritual and Ethical Life (ORSEL). Our mission is to care for and empower students holistically as they seek to find integration and balance in their academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. We are here for ALL students—religious, secular or anywhere in between.
ORSEL affiliates support on-campus programming, provide confidential one-on-one counseling, and advise student religious organizations.
