DESCRIPTION:Senior House\, MIT's oldest dorm\, was home to a diverse subset
of MIT undergraduates: queers\, people of color\, artists\, punks\, weird
os\, and misfits. In past 20 years\, residents painted over 450 murals-- o
 n walls\, ceilings\, doors\, bathrooms\, floors\, stairwells -- and used t
he internal architecture of the building to create an immersive experience
. Last summer\, as the dorm was closed and converted to graduate housing\,
  a group students\, alumni\, and staff worked to document\, preserve\, and
share these murals beyond the walls of this dorm.\n\nThe exhibit includes
scaled and full-size prints of murals\, a lounge area for students to stu
dy & socialize\, and an interactive VR experience. We'll also include pain
ted doors from the dorm\, historical photos from the MIT archives\, and ot
her works of art from former and current residents. \n\nPlease help us cel
ebrate these murals and a unique MIT culture.\n\nFunded in part by the Sig
