In collaboration with the AI Accelerator at BeaverWorks, this special session of the 2022 IEEE High Performance Extreme Computing (HPEC) conference focuses on a set of challenges being worked on by members of MIT, Lincoln Laboratory, and elsewhere to address fundamental AI research that will improve both U.S. Air Force operations as well as broader societal needs. HPEC is the largest computing conference in New England and is the premier conference in the world on the convergence of High Performance and Embedded Computing.  Register at https://ieee-hpec.org/
