Judge Baker is currently in residence at the MIT Center for International Studies as a Robert E Wilhelm Fellow. Judge Baker retired from the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces after fifteen years of service, the last four as chief judge. He currently chairs the American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Law and National Security and is a presidential appointee to the Public Interest Declassification Board.
