The Aerospace Innovation Seminar Series will feature speakers from some of the biggest names in entrepreneurial aerospace — many of whom started as students in AeroAstro!
Eddie Obropta is the co-founder and CTO of Raptor Maps, and leads R&D, engineering, and operations at Raptor Maps. An MIT engineer, Y Combinator alum, and serial entrepreneur, Eddie helped launch multiple businesses while at MIT, including the Ministry of Supply. After receiving his B.S. and M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, Eddie worked on thermal dynamics & life support systems at SpaceX and has built computer vision systems to measure material deformation for the Navy (ONR). Eddie has a wide range of interests and experiences including iPhone game development, solid mechanics, simulations, and drone technology.
