GRAPHICS WORKSHOP ON FIGURE SUBMISSIONS.

A participatory workshop in graphics for graduate students and post-docs.  When you read a published paper, you probably first read the title, then look at the abstract and then go to the figures. Creating clear and communicative figures for your articles is critical, however you receive little training and for the most part, you leave it for the last minute. After a short talk on graphics, we will work as a group and discuss your own draft figures. The promise is you will walk away with at least one new idea on how to refine the work. There will be to categories of participants. The first will be those who submit draft figures for discussion. The second will be those who only want to participate in the conversation.  Space will be limited.
