ART + FOOD + DANCE PARTY
Get to know the arts at MIT! Explore resources, events, and workshops while connecting with fellow MIT art lovers.
Join the Art, Culture, and Technology program, Arts Initiatives, Department of Architecture, Comparative Media Studies / Writing, List Visual Arts Center, Media Lab, Morningside Academy for Design, Music and Theater Arts, and the School of Architecture + Planning for an evening of art, food, and fun.
Check out the List Center galleries and enter the lottery to borrow a work of art, meet student artists, and learn more about MIT’s robust arts community. The evening culminates with a dance party in the E15 ACT Cube.
Register in advance or on site (Wiesner Building, E15, first floor/atrium level).
Capacity is limited; re-entry will be permitted as space allows.

Stop by info tables to learn more about arts opportunities at MIT and pick up swag! Burritos available while supplies last. Passport or government-issued ID required for 21+. Re-entry will be permitted until the event reaches capacity.

Student Lending Art Program

Since 1977, the SLAP Exhibition and Lottery has provided MIT students the enviable opportunity to borrow, appreciate, and live with a museum-quality work of original art for the academic year. This program is free for all current MIT undergraduate and graduate students.

Join the Conversation is an interactive activity linked to the collaborative exhibition on view by fields harrington and Nancy Valladeres.

Explore work by students and faculty in the Art, Culture, and Technology program.

Chill Out DJ Set
ACT Cube, Building E15, Lower Level
Start the evening off with some slow beats by MIT DJs before the dance party kicks into full gear at 9pm.

Art Project Demos
Building E15, Lower Level
Explore interactive artistic work by students and faculty. Learn more about funding and the many resources available to help make your art project ideas a reality. Learn more about funding available for student art projects.
9pm
Dance Party
ACT Cube, Building E15, Lower Level
The evening culminates with a dance party hosted by ACT, featuring MIT DJs and interactive art. Attendees must show either a passport or state ID to be served alcohol. Pizza available while supplies last.
