About this Event
160 MEMORIAL DR, Cambridge, MA 02139
We are partnering with Friends of the Congo to bring the Basandja Coalition to MIT. Join us as we watch the film “Katasumbika” (Coltan in the native Congolese language) by indigenous climate activist, ecologist, and filmmaker Petna Ndaliko Katondolo. Petna will be joining us for dinner and discussion along with Marie-Claire Faray, an anti-colonial feminist and anti-war advocate, and Samuel Yagase, co-founder of the Basandja coalition and rural grassroots organizer. Join us in the Nexus on 10/16 from 5-7 PM!
