Join us in the Lewis Music Library on Thursday, May 11 at 4:30 PM for the Bass Players for Black Composers concert event. Lewis is thrilled to partner with BPBC to present an intimate concert and Q&A session with two of Boston's' leading BIPOC composers, Melika Fitzhugh and Mason Bynes. Their new works will feature pieces for solo bass, bass duo, and string trio.

Bass Players for Black Composers (BPBC) is a collective of bassists, composers, musicians, and patrons focused on creating new solo repertoire written for bass by Black composers.
