About this Event
Applications are open! To be considered for the Start Smart Seminar that begins on February 22, 2021, the Spring 2021 Mentor Program Cohort, and the June 2021 Startup Spotlight, please apply now by February 17, 2020.
Note: You will not need to apply separately to the Mentor Program or the Startup Spotlight if you are accepted into the BIPOC program.
The goal of this board-led, sponsor supported (thank you Gaingels!) initiative is to give Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) access to the know-how, operational support, mentoring, peer, and service provider networks they need in order to reach market validation for their entrepreneurial ventures.
We are committed to diversity and inclusion and we believe that racially and ethnically diverse entrepreneurs are solving problems that will move our economy forward.
This support is offered to any BIPOC entrepreneur (no MIT affiliation needed) who is working on an idea for a new technology product or service or is working on how to use existing technology products or services in new ways.
Our aim, along with the sponsors who support this initiative, is to empower BIPOC entrepreneurs to gain sustainable independence by offering them free access to our programming and plugging them into our collectively powerful network.
