The RYA Day Skipper course is a comprehensive introduction to navigation, chartwork, weather for sailors, and basics of seamanship.  This will be an in-depth companion to the practical sailing skills developed with MIT's bluewater program on Mashnee.  This is valuable information for any level of sailor, but can be a springboard for those looking to skipper their own large boats or acquiring certifications to charter internationally.

Students will need to purchase their own course materials.  The total, including textbooks, charts, navigation tools, and certification, will cost approximately $100.  Material orders will be placed on December 15th.  Please reach out with questions or if cost is an obstacle.
