About this Event
John Lauer, sold his last tech startup to Twilio for $1B. In this talk, he will give you the play by play on how his “tech nerd superpowers” (like those you are gaining at MIT!) enabled him to build a tech behemoth in America. Plus they’ll feed you pizza!
He will then share his next billion-dollar idea, Adom, whose goal is to bring "Your Electronics Workbench to the Cloud." This new idea will enable you to design and prototype your circuit boards live in a remote factory from the comfort of your laptop. This will change the game for the electronics design industry and take your circuit board design process from 6 months to 2 weeks. It’s being called the most important innovation in the electronics industry in 50 years.
Adom is currently hiring particularly in the areas of mechanical and electrical engineering. They are offering a very competitive starting package to new employees joining the team at this early phase of development.
Students and postdocs are encouraged to bring their resume or other materials to share.
