Whether you’re considering purchasing a house or a condo, buying your first home can be an intimidating process. This two-part seminar series will provide the information you need to feel confident and secure as you tackle this exciting life decision.

Part One: Beginning the Process (Friday, March 1, 2024, 12:00pm-1:30pm)

Whether you are just starting to crunch numbers or are already looking at properties, this session will provide the introduction you need to dive into the homebuying process.

• Identifying your broker, home inspector, and attorney
• Examining and comparing properties
• Making your offer
• Navigating the inspection process

Part Two: Closing the Deal (Friday, March 8, 2024, 12:00pm-1:30pm)

Now that you understand the first steps in the homebuying process (outlined in Part One: Beginning the Process), this session will cover everything else you need to know. Topics include:

• Negotiating the purchase and sale agreement
• Arranging for financing
• Estimating ownership costs
• Proceeding into “closing” and passing papers

Please Note:

• You may attend both sessions in this series, but it is not required.
