About this Event
With opening remarks from MIT Vice President for Research Maria Zuber and hosted by the Office of the Vice President for Research and the Office of Sustainability, the Campus Climate Action Forum is an opportunity for the MIT community to help shape the next five years of campus climate action.
Join us for an update on the work behind Pillar E of MIT’s Plan for Action on Climate Change: Using our community as a test bed for change, then share your ideas and ask questions to play an important role in guiding the future of campus climate action at MIT.
Hosted by Director of Sustainability Julie Newman, and featuring Vice President for Campus Services and Stewardship Joe Higgins and Associate Professor of Urban and Environmental Planning David Hsu, the Campus Climate Action Forum is an interactive event that will highlight the strategies MIT has taken to address campus contributions to climate change over the past five years while also looking to the next five years—sourcing insight and ideas from the MIT community.
Have questions or suggestions for MIT campus climate action? Bring them to the plenary session or email in advance to sustainablemit@mit.edu.
