MIT's African, Black, American, and Caribbean (ABAC) Employee Resource Group presents a celebration of Caribbean American contributions and culture! ABAC's Caribbean American Heritage Month Celebration is Wednesday, June 11 at 12 p.m. in Building E17-517.
"Revolution and Resilience: Moving from Broken to Brave" is speaker Marcia Kimm-Jackson's story of how she turned personal pain into purposeful resistance and unapologetic resilience. You'll learn more about reclaiming your voice, rewriting your identity, and standing tall in spaces designed to keep you small.
Marcia Kimm-Jackson, a human resources, equity, and inclusion professional, is the founder and CEO of MKJ Collaborative, LLC, an executive coaching and employee engagement practice, which features professional development facilitation delivered through a Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion lens. An effective community organizer, she emphasizes the importance of nurturing others, curating narrative, and establishing a legacy of connection and collaboration.
