We invite all graduate students to this dinner event to celebrate Chuseok, or Korean Thanksgiving with us. Just like in the United States, Thanksgiving is one of the main holidays in Korea, where friends and families gather together to thank their ancestors for the plentiful harvest. Following the lunar calendar, Korean Thanksgiving happens earlier than the U.S Thanksgiving and the festivity lasts for several days. Both Korean and non-Korean graduates will gather together to share various Thanksgiving traditions unique to Korea and explore the origin of Korean foods prepared for to celebrate this holiday. Graduate students are welcome to bring their families to share and explore Korean culture.
