Learn about this opportunity to study Chinese in Taiwan over IAP (January 2023).

MIT Global Languages offers 21G.S05 Special Subject: IAP Chinese Abroad in Taiwan in January 2023, hosted in collaboration with National Sun Yat-sen University located in Taiwan’s largest port city Kaohsiung. Students will participate in daily language classes. Additional cultural and experiential programs will enable students to explore the diversity of Taiwanese culture, history, and industry. Language instruction will be conducted by Dr. Haohsiang Liao, and culture and history lectures by Professor Emma Teng. Class is 6 credits. Program prerequisites are Chinese III Regular or Chinese II Streamlined.
