Community Conversations: Tech for Social Good

The event will bring together local community-focused agencies, tech workers and activists, and MIT students, staff and faculty to explore the many challenges and opportunities at the intersection of computational technology and social & environmental justice.

  • Meet local organizations exploring the ways that computational tech (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Virtual Reality, etc) can be used for the social good and restricting tech’s potential for contributing to inequality and injustice
  • Join a table discussion about transparency and accountability at MIT with the Movement for Anti-Oppressive Computing Practices
  • Discover internships, volunteer opportunities, and jobs
  • Enjoy good food in good company
