Title: Constructible sheaves, L-functions and base change theorems

Abstract:

In this talk, we will give an overview of various foundational tools used for computations in etale cohomology. Time permitting, this may include constructible sheaves, their L-functions and the Grothendieck-Lefschetz trace formula, and the proper base change theorem.
