Come learn how to make prints using objects from your quarantine space! We will be exploring the process of collagraphy, a versatile and experimental form of printmaking that relies on collage. This project will challenge you to be resourceful and gather materials from what you have. While we will provide ink and brushes, here’s what you will need to provide:

  • Collage materials that are relatively flat but vary in texture (paper, leaves, string, fuzz, netting, etc.)
  • Leftover cardboard
  • Paper or fabric to print on
  • Glue or adhesive
  • Foil
  • Something to apply pressure, or acting as a rollover for the printing process, like a rolling pin, glass bottle, or even stepping on a heavy book on top of the print

Participation requires registration. Please fill out the form by Monday, April 5th, 12pm. We will ship necessary materials to you.
Open ONLY to MIT Spouses & Partners Connect members.
