This is a Korean cultural event inspired by the Netflix's popular series from Korea, Squid Game. We, Korean Graduate Students Association (KGSA), are hosting a cultural event that provide a fun and playful time for all MIT community to try out several of the Korean traditional games shown in the Squid Game. We will prepare the Dalgona Candy in-advance and it will be sold only for charity purpose, and let all attendees try out to cut the candy following the different imprinted shapes. Attendees will get to choose a shape of the candy imprint and try out to cut it, and whoever do it right, we will give one more candy for free as a reward of the game. Other games we will show are 'Red Light, Green Light' and 'Ddakji'. 'Ddakji' is a game flipping a folded paper tiles, and invite you all to learn how to play it. All the money earned during this event will be donated to charity 'Save the Children'. You all are welcome to drop-by the event site anytime between 12 - 4pm. This event will be a great opportunity for anyone to learn more about Korean culture in a playful way and as if they are being a character of the Squid Game (Happy Halloween!).
