This is a set of ballroom dance workshops which includes both specialized dance topics as well as general topics such as breathing, yoga, feldenkrais and other techniques. These workshops are open to the broader MIT graduate student community as well as all members of the team. The workshops aim to be accessible to the general graduate student community by offering techniques to improve posture, breathing, physical ability, and stamina. Each workshop consists of 4 hours of taught exercise, after which a healthy/nutritious lunch is served, and followed by supervised practice.
