Researching something cool? Building a new project? Love to talk about your work? The MIT Museum invites students to design an experience for our gallery cart program that showcases your work. Learn about science communication, gamification, accessibility and more from experts at the Museum, and see examples of successful carts run by your peers. Then, with access to the Museum’s materials and making tools and support from engagement staff, develop your own activity or demonstration! This 3-day workshop will culminate with an opportunity to show off your activity to other participants and to Museum visitors.

There will also be an opportunity to continue to run your activity during the semester through our Student Spotlight Program. If you choose to participate in the Student Spotlight Program you will:
•    Run your cart 2-4 times in the spring semester
•    Be featured on the MIT Museum website
•    Receive ongoing feedback from MIT Museum staff
•    Receive two free tickets to an After Dark Event, and/or selected events throughout the year

This IAP is open to all current MIT graduate and undergraduate students.
Advance registration required, maximum 16 participants
