Dialogues Across Differences: ICEO Community Dialogues

Thursday, October 07, 2021 at 12:00pm to 1:00pm

10-105

Join ICEO for a lively discussion and workshop about trusting diverse perspectives and communicating across differences in identity.

Lead by Mechanical Engineering's Bryan Nance, a self-described hip, Black man with dreads, and Kathy McMahon-Klosterman, Professor Emerita of Educational Psychology at Miami University and "old, white woman who wears cameo jewelry," we will learn how to create a common language to broach uncomfortable topics, respectfully disagree, and be allies for change.

This event will feature ASL interpretation, and will be hosted both in person and via zoom. Select an option when you register. In-person space is limited.

Attendees who will be joining us for an in person experience must be vaccinated against Covid-19.
