Digital Humanities Workshop: Prof. Christine Walley

The Digital Humanities Workshop provides a flexible, dynamic space for faculty and researchers to connect with one another about digital research and teaching topics. This semester will focus on innovative approaches to storytelling that combine archival methods and digital tools. Our Fall 2021 sessions are:

  • Thursday, October 7, @5:00 PM: Professor Christine Walley (Anthropology), on rethinking online archives through interactive documentary work in the Southeast Chicago Archive and Storytelling Project.

  • Thursday, November 4, @5:00 PM: Professor Craig Wilder (History), on the progress and challenges of sustaining the MIT and Slavery curricular project. 

  • Thursday, December 2, @5:15 PM: Professor Catherine D’Ignazio & Wonyoung So (DUSP/Data + Feminism Lab), on documenting commemoration in the U.S. with Audit the Streets.

This series is co-hosted by the MIT Libraries and Programs in Digital Humanities.
