Disabled@MIT presents "Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution"

Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 3:00pm to 5:30pm

Building 14, The Nexus, Hayden Library
160 MEMORIAL DR, Cambridge, MA 02139

Disabled@MIT is a new student-led group at MIT representing the student disability community on campus. At this event, we will be showing the movie Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution. This acclaimed documentary shares the story of a New York summer camp for disabled teens and how members of that camp went on to participate in historic protests for disability rights and accessibility legislation. After this documentary, we will have time for attendees to meet each other and discuss the film. For accessibility, we respectfully request participants to mask during this event (masks will be provided), and the movie will be shown with subtitles. Please RSVP to share any other accommodations needed
