About this Event
160 MEMORIAL DR, Cambridge, MA 02139
Join Amanda Hawk and Thera Webb from MIT Libraries' Department of Distinctive Collections to learn about their work preserving the histories of MIT women in the archives. One such woman is Katharine Dexter McCormick, a 1904 MIT graduate in Biology, whose achievements are documented in a recent online and physical exhibit curated by Webb. The presentation will be followed by Q&A, tours of the exhibit, and celebratory refreshments in honor of McCormick's 150th birthday!
Funding provided by the MIT Department of Biology and the MIT Libraries' Women@MIT Initiative
