If you would like to feel more comfortable conversing in English, this is a group for you! Led by MS&PC member Sun Yeo. She has lived in the U.S. for over ten years, and she is currently tutoring beginners in English at English at Large and co-facilitating an English conversation group there as well. Sun knows the difficulties of expressing one self's in English after you first arrive, and she is creating this group to help you feel more comfortable talking and sharing ideas in English. All levels of fluency in English are welcome. The group will read articles and essays about U.S. culture, customs and current events and discuss them together. Children are welcome, although if your child is having a particularly sad or noisy day that might disrupt the group, please consider attending without your child, if possible.
