About this Event
Come and join the next edition of FAIL @ MIT, in collaboration with MIT Women’s League.
How often have you felt frustrated, anxious, or ashamed because failure is not accepted where you live, study, or work? Have you ever wondered how life could be if people were allowed to fail when trying something new, rather than being punished and blamed?
FAIL! is an event aimed at embracing the deeper meaning of failures and changing the culture in companies, universities, and workplaces, by creating a more tolerant society where failure is destigmatized and accepted as a natural phase in learning.
By listening to stories of failures shared by professors, entrepreneurs, athletes, and other successful people, you will be challenged to look at failures differently, learning how to accept and conquer them, and make the most of the lessons they come with.
The Women's League is proud to invite you to join this edition of FAIL! at MIT, featuring exceptional speakers sharing their personal and professional failures!
- L. Rafael Reif, MIT President
- Chris Bourg, Director of Libraries at MIT
- Kip Hollister, Founder of The Hollister Group
- Bill Walczak, Community organizer
The event will be hosted once again by Kirsty Bennett, Manager of the MIT Women’s League and founder of MITell, and will be followed by a Q&A session with the speakers.
