The MIT Music Production Collaborative is hosting our fall Trackathon (music hackathon) this Friday (11/11). Create a track related to a mystery prompt chosen by multi-platinum rapper Lupe Fiasco (you’re lying if you say you didn’t have this on repeat in 2011), either with a small group or by yourself. Then, Lupe will give you feedback on it in a listening session!
We’ll be providing MIDI keyboards, so bring a computer and any other equipment you want to make your track. We will also be providing staff mentorship throughout the day, so don’t worry if you haven’t produced music before.

9:30-10:00: Coffee/Setup (3-370)
10:00: Lupe Fiasco’s prompt revealed (3-370)
10:00-4:00: Song creation (3-370)
4:30-6:00: Listening session with Lupe Fiasco (4-237)
6:15-7:45: Dinner and musician mixer (4-237)
