Join us for a conversation with Skydio co-founder and CEO Adam Bry SM ’12 as he shares his path from graduate studies at MIT to leading advances at the frontier of modern robotics.

Skydio, the largest drone manufacturer in the U.S., has delivered more than 60,000 autonomous drones to 3,800 organizations worldwide. These systems conduct thousands of daily flights in mission-critical—often life-or-death—operations across public safety, critical infrastructure inspection, and national security.

Bry will discuss the technical, entrepreneurial, and personal journey behind Skydio’s rise: from early research at MIT to building a vertically integrated company spanning hardware, software, autonomy, and manufacturing. He will reflect on the challenges of developing robotics solutions for high-stakes environments and serving complex, demanding customers at scale.
