Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11:00am to 12:00pm

Virtual Event

The emergence of artificial intelligence has enabled a variety of new methods for government surveillance. These include facial and emotion recognition, predictive analytics, data fusion, and enhanced aerial surveillance by drones and other aircraft. Researcher and writer Arthur Holland Michel will join MIT Horizon for an interview to help unmask and demystify these novel instruments of intrusion and discuss what can be done to avoid their grave risks.
