Historical Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Tonight we will be looking at the historical evidence for Jesus Christ, namely his resurrection.  The Christian faith rises or falls on whether or not the Resurrection actually happened. Our speaker will look at the facts from the Bible and outside the Bible to give evidence for Jesus and then examine the agreed upon facts about the events that followed Jesus' death to see where the evidence points.  Is a literal resurrection the best explanation to the agreed upon the facts of history?  Christians would say yes, but why?  Is the Christian faith built on good eye witness testimony and evidence, or is the resurrection a product of myth and legend that developed over time?  If the Jesus Story was on trial in a court of law, what would the jury decide?  Come hear the evidence and decide for yourself.
