DESCRIPTION:Historical Evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ\n\n \n
\nTonight we will be looking at the historical evidence for Jesus Christ\,
namely his resurrection. The Christian faith rises or falls on whether o
r not the Resurrection actually happened. Our speaker will look at the fac
ts from the Bible and outside the Bible to give evidence for Jesus and the
n examine the agreed upon facts about the events that followed Jesus' deat
h to see where the evidence points. Is a literal resurrection the best ex
planation to the agreed upon the facts of history? Christians would say y
es\, but why? Is the Christian faith built on good eye witness testimony
and evidence\, or is the resurrection a product of myth and legend that de
veloped over time? If the Jesus Story was on trial in a court of law\, wh
at would the jury decide? Come hear the evidence and decide for yourself.
