About this Event
The Fulbright Statement of Grant Purpose is the crux of your Fulbright application. This workshop will give you the tools and practice you need to craft a compelling grant proposal essay that meets the Fulbright requirements. Not sure yet what you want to do with Fulbright? This workshop is also for you! Our workshop exercises will help in your decision-making process. We will cover proposals for independent research, graduate study, and English teaching assistantships. Personal statements will also be briefly discussed. By attending this workshop, you will have a deeper understanding of what Fulbright is seeking in its applicants. You will also be on strong footing to work on drafts of your essays over the summer and be prepared for the MIT August internal deadline. Lunch provided. More info: Julia Mongo, Fulbright Program Advisor, jmongo@mit.edu.
This CAPD event is open to MIT undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, and alumni. Registration requested via Careerbridge (powered by Handshake).
