Title: Involutive Floer Homology and Applications to the Homology Cobordism Group
Abstract: In this talk, we discuss some recent applications of involutive Heegaard Floer homology (defined by Hendricks and Manolescu) to the homology cobordism group. We establish some non-torsion results and show that the homology cobordism group admits an infinite-rank summand. This is joint work with Jennifer Hom, Matthew Stoffregen, and Linh Truong.
