About this Event
Receive support for the challenges that come up in the job search and ideas for overcoming them. Attendees will drive content for each session and generate ideas for one another, so topics will be different for each group. If you've felt that the job search is frustrating and you feel stuck, this is the group for you.
An open, welcoming environment will be established so everyone can discuss their needs. Please note that we won't have time to go into individual resume or document reviews, but individual meetings can be scheduled on CareerBridge (powered by Handshake).
The time commitment is one hour and different attendees will be at each session.
Group dates:
Tuesday September 12: 10 – 11:00 a.m.
Tuesday, September 17: 10 – 11:00 a.m.
Monday, October 21: 2 – 3:00 p.m.
142 Memorial Drive, Room 50-220
Space is limited to the first 20 graduate students. Pre-registration is required via CareerBridge (powered by Handshake). Snacks, coffee and tea will be provided.
This is facilitated by Jake Livengood, Senior Assistant Director of Graduate Student Career Services at MIT Career Advising & Professional Development (CAPD). This is a collaboration with the Graduate Student Council (GSC).
