Institute Faculty Meeting

The MIT Faculty, as defined in Section 1.10 of Rules and Regulations of the Faculty, meets on the third* Wednesday of each month during the academic year except in January. For regular meetings, except when in executive session, non-Faculty members of the MIT community may attend as listeners. However, speaking privileges are held only by members of the Faculty and others specially designated for a given meeting.

*When the third Wednesday falls on or immediately before a major holiday, the regular meeting is scheduled for either the second or the fourth Wednesday.
