Is The Christmas Story Believable?

Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 7:30pm to 9:00pm

Building 6, 120
182 MEMORIAL DR (REAR), Cambridge, MA 02139

Some call the Christmas story the "Greatest Story Ever Told."  But is it?  Maybe it is just that....a nice story with lots of myth and legend built into it?  Or could it actually be true and reasonable to believe?  Come hear from Dr. Rebecca McLaughlin as she addresses questions like:

Was Jesus even a real person?
Can we take the Bible seriously?
How can you believe in a virgin birth?
Why does it even matter?

This event is for anyone, whether you are unfamiliar with the Christian story, whether you believe it wholeheartedly, or are skeptical of it all (i.e. miraculous claims like a virgin birth and angels appearing as messengers, Jesus being the Savior of the World).

Come for an engaging and intellectual look at the claims of the Christmas story and why it could actually be believable.  Examine the evidence yourself. The talk will be followed by a time of Question and Answer.  Light refreshments afterwards.
