Fall 2018 Public Programs

Join us at 6 PM at McDermott Court (near the Green Building) to see Janus, a 2,000kg concrete sculpture, come to life. Janus is designed by Assistant Professor Brandon Clifford with CEMEX Global R&D, composers Federico Gardella and Simone Conforti, and performer Terez Lowry.

MIT students and community, continue on to Arts on the Radar co-organized by the MIT Program in Art, Culture and Technology, the MIT List Visual Arts Center, MIT Music And Theater Arts, and Arts at MIT.

Enjoy open studio sessions with ACT students, live music, BBQ from Redbones, and an art interactive, Between Us, with artist Graham Yeager.

Drop by the List Center galleries and enter a lottery to borrow a work of art from the List’s Student Lending Art Collection.

View art installations and demonstrations in the atrium lobbies and learn more about MIT’s exciting art community.

The evening culminates with a dance party in the ACT Cube. This event is presented in conjunction with the List Center’s Student Lending Art Program Exhibition and Lottery.

Also taking place prior to Arts on the Radar: Premiere of The Great Clarinet Summit documentary film presented by MIT Music & Theater Arts / 6pm, 10-250
