The Lemelson-MIT Program (LMIT) is looking to select up to six MIT students to assist in an ethnographic research study of an online summer program for adults. 

Student researchers will receive guidance and support, including opportunities for learning the basics of ethnographic research while engaging in participant observation and interviews with adults attending LMIT’s summer invention education workshop. 

Students will also have opportunities to hear from experts in the field with a background in product ethnography.

Accepted students will be paid $20 per hour and will be expected to work remotely (online) up to 40 hours per week across a six-week period from July 5 – August 12, 2022.
