Explore the intersection of science and art through this workshop on manufacturing handmade watercolor paint. Learn to portion different ratios of pigment and binder to craft vibrant colors, experience the satisfying process of mixing and mulling paint, and then use your own paint to illustrate greeting cards. No paint-making or painting experience required!

Each session runs for 1.5 hours. We’re offering two sessions for the general MIT community:

We are limited to 10 people per session, so 20 people total will be selected. If over 20 people register, participation will be determined by lottery and a waitlist. The lottery closes on January 10, and participants will be notified of their admission by January 11.
