All members of the MIT community are warmly invited to the 49th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, which will be held in-person on February 8, 2023 in Morss Hall.

Seating is limited.  The event will also be streamed for those unable to attend in person.

Program Information
We gather each February as a community to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and to honor Dr. King's dual emphasis on global and local issues. The 2023 keynote speaker will be Dr. Angela Y. Davis, Feminist and Writer.


Expanded Celebration
Please note, this year the MIT community is welcomed to attend additional MLK events the same week, including a showing of the winning entries from the art contest all week in Lobby 10; the MLK Leadership Award Ceremony and Reception on February 7; and the MLK Vendor’s Market on February 10. Please see the website for details. Registration is only required for in-person attendance at the luncheon on February 8.
