Mens et Manus America: How Does Gender Matter in Politics?

Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 5:00pm to 7:00pm

Building E62, 276
100 MAIN ST, Cambridge, MA 02142

This event will screen of the play Her Opponent, followed by discussion with the play’s creators, economist Maria Guadalupe (INSEAD) and playwright and director Joe Salvatore (NYU).  This critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play was a unique, experimental effort to understand how gender matters in politics based on a reenactment of the 2016 presidential events, with a woman playing Trump and a man playing Clinton.  The results of this experiment surprised everyone, providing opportunity for deeper insight.
