Join us at MIT's Mechanical Engineering Research Exhibition (MERE), where graduate students, postdocs, and UROPs showcase their cutting-edge research to the broader MIT community! 

This year's MERE will feature an in-person poster session on March 5th from 1- 3pm in buildings 1, 3, & 5, bringing together researchers to share their work with faculty, peers, industry representatives, and alumni. The 2026 event coincides with our department’s graduate student open house, offering prospective students a valuable window into the research being conducted across our labs.
 

New this year: We're introducing a scavenger hunt during the exhibition, along with a raffle featuring MechE merchandise. Cash prizes will be awarded for outstanding poster presentations.

MERE offers more than just poster presentations—it's an opportunity for meaningful conversations about innovative research, networking with industry professionals (many of whom are MIT alumni), and recognition for outstanding work.
