Spend your lunch break grooving with BatucadaMIT, a newly formed Brazilian music and arts ensemble started by contemporary percussionist, educator, and Brazilian native Marcus Santos. Audiences will be invited to participate in the performance!

BatucadaMIT aims to foster community and joy through the rich world of Brazilian music and the lively traditions of percussion and dance.

BatucadaMIT, and this performance, are presented in collaboration with MISTI MIT Brazil and Portuguese at MIT Global Languages, with support from the MIT Brazilian Students Association and MISTI Brazil alumna Talia Khan.
